Custom Alerts

Custom Alerts in Zipy help you stay on top of application errors by automatically notifying your team when predefined error conditions occur. These alerts are fully customizable using error-specific conditions and filters, allowing you to take immediate action and reduce issue resolution time.

Key Features

  • Real-Time Notifications: Get alerted as soon as the condition is met.

  • Custom Filters: Fine-tune alerts using environment, platform, and error message filters.

  • Multiple Channels: Send alerts via Slack, Email, or Webhooks.

  • Configurable Severity: Set priority levels (Info, Warning, Critical) to match your workflow.

How It Works

  1. Navigate to Custom Alerts

  2. Define Alert Conditions Choose the condition from the list and set your value and interval based on your requirement

  3. Define the filters

Customize your alert using Zipy filters (Browser, Error Category, Error Context, Error Type, Navigation URL, OS, and Release Version). It also supports multiple filter combinations.

  4. Configure Notification Settings

Select channels (Email, Slack, Webhook, and Roles - Invited users in Zipy Project)

  5. Set Frequency (Optional)

You can define the frequency of alerts triggered to reduce the noise of alerts being sent.

  6. Save and Activate Once activated, Zipy will continuously monitor incoming sessions and trigger alerts as per the defined conditions.

Note:

  • Alerts are triggered only for the upcoming data from the point of activation.

  • You will be able to update any conditions set live anytime, and the new changes will be reflected for the upcoming sessions.
